Our Team

Michaela is our Financial Adviser. It's she you'll meet with to discuss your financial planning, and who will research, design, present, and implement your advice.

Michaela is a Chartered Financial Planner, Practitioner of Financial Planning, and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. She has even authored her own formal financial planning qualification, which she continues to oversee and deliver alongside her work at Roseum.

Throughout her 17-year career, she has worked with some of the profession's biggest brands including M&G/Prudential, Sandringham, St James's Place, and SimplyBiz.

Alan is our Advice Quality Consultant. His role is to peer review Michaela's advice to ensure it's of the highest quality, and compliant with regulatory and legal standards.

Alan holds a Master's Degree (with distinction) in Financial Planning and Business Management from Manchester Metropolitan University, where he remains a postgraduate researcher. He's a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, where he serves as Chair of the North Scotland institute.

A lifelong academic, Alan's passion is impact investing, the focus of his research. He also maintains an active interest in wider forms of sustainable and ethical investment, and the practice of financial planning in general.
